Prior Life: Upholstery fabric from yard sale, vintage brocade upholster fabric and repurposed sample from interior decorating store.
This is a beautiful bag made from our leftover fabrics. As we cut purses, we save all the small pieces in a big bag, and then cut them into this Portland style. This one is especially lovely. The front pocket is the old brocade. It is golden and tan with ivory flowers. The second pocket is made from a small piece left over from a find at a yard sale. The front body is a lovely, high end, sample from an interior decorating store in San Francisco. We used the brocade on the back. The strap is long, we make them long so they can be a hipster bag! The bag is fully lined with an inside pocket, and has been reinforced with interfacing. Gold seems to be one of the colors of this autumn and winter, so here you go!
