1940's Drapery Fabric Purse

This is one of my all time favorite fabrics. It was purchased at a box sale. The fabric had been sitting in a box in the attic for about 35 years. What a great find and the fabric splendid. It has a smoky gray background with bouquets of coral and red flowers, with green, blue and brown leaves. In the background are swirls of light gray. The style suits the fabric well. It is a large saddlebag with a large back pocket. We have used very soft and strong interfacing to strengthen this old fabric. The bag is not positively cushy! It is fully lined with an inside pocket. The large flap is closed with a magnetic snap. Wonderful!
